What is the Great Orme?
In short, the Great Orme is a massive chunk of the headland to one side of Llandudno. It spans from Northshore to Westshore. The Orme is filled with natural and man-made history, fun family day out activities walks and more. There are plenty of dog-friendly adventures on the Great Orme. In this blog though, we're going to tell you about the Orme Summit Cafe...
The Summit Complex Café
Situated at the very top of the Great Orme you couldn’t find a café with beautiful views surrounding it. Its striking position offers a scenic backdrop of Llandudno, Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and the Irish sea.
Within the café itself, you’ll find scrumptious cakes, soups, hot food options and a friendly atmosphere. All well-behaved dogs are welcome, and they can simply sit at the side of the table.
What else is near the Summit Complex?
Within the complex, there's a little gift shop, miniature golf, a little museum explaining the history of the Great Orme, a children's park and some great walks! Please note, that not all facilities allow dogs entry.
How do I get to The Great Orme Summit Complex?
Dog-friendly ways to reach the top include driving, walking up or even catching the tram from the bottom of the Great Orme for a small fee (it also allows dogs to board)
